Entirely Made in Europe by skilled artisans and sold exclusively at www.larcobaleno.com from the end of October, the collection challenges traditional online design retail by proposing collectable pieces standing as a free expression of each Fabrica designer who conveys his own style, vision and personality through the object. “We enthusiastically accepted Ambra Medda’s invitation to offer to L’ArcoBaleno clients the possibility to adorn their homes with functional, unparalleled and singular items, especially designed for them”, says Sam Baron, the creative director of the Fabrica Design Studio. “It's wonderful to be able to collaborate with young talents coming out of Fabrica, such an amazing and unique design institution. I love the ever growing trend of designers collaborating with artisans. In this project, designers and artisans are mutually supportive bringing the designers work to life at such a high quality and allowing for the artisan's work to be seen by a larger audience”, says Ambra Medda, Creative Director and Co-Founder of L’ArcoBaleno. When talking about objects, the online experience is closely related to images presenting the item’s characteristics on our digital devices. That’s why each piece comes with the print of the artistic interpretation of the designer’s drawing. The customer not only gets a product, but also the idea at the foundation of it, thus creating a dialogue between 2D and 3D realities.
