From June 8 to June 11 Fabrica is hosting a workshop held by the world renowned French designer Mathieu Lehanneur.
The title of the workshop is The 7 first days and the 7 last days of your life. What this workshop focuses on is our ability to question ourselves about the symbolic and fundamental objects that link us to the world of things: the very first objects and the very last ones.
Nina Due, Head of Exhibitions at the London Design Museum, will be attending the final presentation to write a critical essay inspired by the results of the workshop.
On June 7 at 9 pm Italian singer-songwriter Morgan interprets Dante at Fabrica. This inventive blend of contemporary culture and immortal poetry helps us understand the present and celebrates the release of a new edition of Dante's Inferno, published by Mondadori, illustrated and commentated by Benetton's creative laboratory.
Free entrance, starting from 8 pm.

I AM JESUS
by Valerie Gudenus and Heloisa Sartorato
A farming commune in Siberia; rebellious squatters in England; YouTube celebrities in Brazil. These parallel worlds rotate around three different figures with one thing in common: their claim to be Jesus Christ. By following these religious leaders and the daily lives of their disciples, ‘I Am Jesus’ looks at our need for a spiritual guide in the search for answers to the human condition.

Fabrica has conceived the symbolic image for the communication campaign "Mamma beve, bimbo beve" ("Mummy drinks, baby drinks") for USSL 9, the public social health unit of the Treviso area, Venice (Italy).
The image employed for the campaign is a foetus suspended in a glass of spritz, spritz being a typical Venetian alcoholic drink. The aim of the campaign is to warn pregnant women about the dangers of drinking. The message is clear: if you are pregnant and drink, even one glass of alcohol, it may damage your unborn child.
Dante's Inferno has been extensively illustrated, with accompanying notes, by Fabrica. A brandnew book published by Mondadori, appearing in bookstores from May 25.
More than 300 illustrations, all hand-made using different techniques and all accompanied by in-depth notation: a meticulous work, which gives the reader a fresh and original interpretation of one of the greatest masterpieces of everlasting liturature.
Fabrica assigned this project to two young English artists, Patrick Waterhouse and Walter Hutton.
