John Cale in concert at Fabrica

On Friday, July 14th at 9:30pm John Cale, founder with Lou Reed of the legendary band The Velvet Underground, will be in concert at Fabrica, unique date in Italy.

Before and after the concert it will be possible to buy Fabrica’s editorial and design products.
Food&beverage will be taken care by Zanco-Foodproject, Le Papere Itineranti, Mami Gelato Al Volo and the friends of Home Rock Bar.

 

 

 

Avant-garde musician, remarkable record label producer, soundtrack composer and acclaimed for his collaborations with artists such as The Stooges, Nico, Patti Smith, Nick Drake and the Modern Lovers of Jonathan Richman, John Cale will alternate tracks from his multiple-year solo career (just to name a few, the albums Music For A New Society, published by legendary Ze Records, and Songs For Drella, composed with Lou Reed and dedicated to their friend Andy Warhol) with more recent songs and Velvet Underground’s classics. 2017 celebrates the 50th anniversary of the release of the group's first album and, most recently, Cale accepted the prestigious Grammy Award on behalf of the band.
