Kendra comes from the US and is a member of our Video team. This is the first time she lives abroad, and in Italy she has discovered a passion for gelato – though sometimes she misses peanut butter. She’s just started to work on a personal project, so stay tuned to know more!
Can you describe in no more than 30 words who you are and what you do?
I’m a videomaker from the United States. I listen to Radiohead, cook, play rugby, aspire to be fashionable, and read film theory and philosophy.
What do you expect from your time at Fabrica?
This is my first experience living abroad, so I expect to grow in ways that I don’t even know yet. I’m also looking forward to collaborating with so many unique and talented people from around the world.
What inspires you most?
Learning and striving to understand the world and the relationships within it inspires me.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
“Don’t have a backup plan.” In other words, chase your dreams and don’t hold anything back nor spread yourself too thin.
What do you miss of your home and what do you like of Italy?
I miss friends, family, and peanut butter. Nonetheless I love Italy. I could drink espresso and eat gelato everyday. Riding my bike to and from work with the Dolomites in the distance isn’t bad either. Italy is a beautiful country.
