Can you describe in no more than 30 words who you are and what you do?
I am from Seoul. You can call me Jang. I try to be open-minded. I will be a great storyteller in the end.
What do you expect from your time at Fabrica?
Before applying, I thought that “If I get in there, I will make the unforgettable year of my life”. Now I am here, I will meet people, talk, explore, work, eat, drink more.
What inspires you most?
Family members are inspiring me most. We’ve lived together and I’ve learnt from them since I was born. We are the mirror for each other. Especially my 2-year-old nephew’s endless movement is always inspiring me. Now I am apart from them for a long time, they can inspire me in another way.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
‘Everything is changing’. This is the advice from the monk when I was a soldier. Yes it is true. My mind, your mind, our relationship, situation, even our creative idea, everything is changing in every moment. This advice makes me feel relaxed.
What do you miss of your home and what do you like of Italy?
My father enjoys cooking. His Korean spicy soup dishes are always perfect! I miss his dishes. But now I am into oil based pasta (especially linguine alle vongole) and pistacchio gelato.
