On 14 March at 6:30pm Fabrica will host a double event that can’t be missed by all those who love illustration and visual communication: Olimpia Zagnoli, one of the most known names in the Italian scene and the team of Illustratore Italiano, the first Italian magazine entirely dedicated to illustration.
Olimpia Zagnoli will invite the public to follow her into her colorful universe, made of soft forms, pop colors and playful lines. She will talk about her, her creative process and where her inspiration comes from.
The team of Illustratore Italiano will present in national preview its new issue, “Stereotypes in children’s books”, that will be published for the Bologna Children Book’s Fair and has contributions by international authors on the topic of storytelling for children and its main characters. How should we interpret diversity in stories? How much can color, gender and origin of the characters influence the effectiveness of a story? These are some of the issues that will be discussed.
