FABRICA CREATIVITY ON STAGE IN MOSCOW

As part of the celebrations for the Italian year of culture in Russia

Treviso, July 2011. Fabrica was invited to take part with a series of initiatives in Italian Week, a programme of events organised by Red October, with support from the Italian Institute of Culture in Moscow, to celebrate the year of cultural exchange between Italy and Russia.

The three main events are the following:

Wednesday 6 July 2011 at 9 p.m. Omar Vulpinari, expanded media director at Fabrica, is to give a lecture at Strelka, the Moscow Institute for Media Architecture and Design. The lecture, entitled “The Social Design of Fabrica”, is to discuss the issues of social communication, the creation of globally effective images and non-conventional communication strategies.

After the lecture a retrospective of Fabrica video projects, from the documentaries to the public service announcements, from the shorts to the video clips, will showcase the creativity of young Fabrica video makers from different countries around the world.

Friday 8 July 2011 Fabrica is to take part in the exhibition “The Best of Contemporary Italian Social and Cultural Graphic Design" with a series of social campaigns and awareness spots ranging from the prevention of road accidents to the climate crisis, from the fight against smoking to the prevention of alcohol consumption during pregnancy, produced by Fabrica for major international humanitarian organisations. The exhibition, staged at Red October in Moscow, will be open from 8 to 17 July 2011.
