Ahmad Rafat

Fabrica will be hosting Ahmad Rafat, the internationally known Iranian journalist, for a lecture on terrorism.

Born in Teheran 54 years ago, Ahmad Rafat worked for 21 years as a correspondent for the Middle East and the Balkans of the Spanish news magazine El Tiempo.

A deputy Editor to the news agency ADN-Kronos International, Ahmad Rafat is a fervent defender of the cause of Iranian students, women, journalists and intellectuals, as well as human rights in Iran.

Based in Rome since 1970, he has been awarded several prizes for his journalistic work.
