Within the Fabrica Creative Labs, on Wednesday 13 January from 3 to 4pm CET, Arianna Rinaldo, photo editor, teacher and curator, will hold an online lecture entitled “How human strategies can boost your career: from photo editor to curator, from analog to digital, and back”.
Arianna Rinaldo will converse about her career path from her “analog format” as Library director of Magnum Photos NY in the 90s to her status as Artistic director of a successful festival like Cortona On The Move. In between, and throughout, her digital life as a mentor for PHmuseum and her engaging experience as juror, speaker, teacher and editor both live and online.

Arianna Rinaldo is a freelance professional working with photography at a wide range. Since 2012 she is the artistic director of Cortona On The Move, international festival of visual narrative. For almost 10 years she was the director of OjodePez, a documentary photo quarterly, and for the past 5 she has been the curator of photography for PhEST, a festival on contemporary photography and art in Puglia.
Arianna’s relationship with photography started in 1998 as Archive Director at Magnum Photos, NY; and then, back in Italy, as photo editor for Colors magazine. From 2004 to 2011, in Milan, she works as editorial consultant and curator for exhibitions and special projects. For 4 years she is photo consultant at D, the weekend supplement of La Repubblica.
Based in Barcelona since 2012, Arianna is active as consultant, teacher, curator and editor. She participates in photo events and festivals around the world as speaker and portfolio reviewer; and she is regularly invited on jury panels and selections committees for international institutions and organizations.
