A PÉ A NÁPOLES

A PÉ A NÁPOLES

This production intends to explore in images and sound the difficulty of walking on foot long distances for extended amounts of days, while bringing to the present the idea of the great walk done by the filmmaker’s family when immigrating to Brazil in 1897.

By creating an opening to a conversation about the physical and emotional struggle of this walk personally during the film, the production makes it possible to relate the filmmaker’s journey with the greater Italian immigration history, while opening to the exploration of human feelings, attachments, and struggles.
