On Thursday 8 February at 7.00 pm Fabrica hosts Enea Colombi, a young Italian director, for a presentation of his latest works – music videos and commercial projects – and a special screening of “The day after”, his debut short film focused on conflict between man and nature.
Born in 1997 in Piacenza, Enea Colombi began his career in the province, later moving to Milan where he directed commercials for prestigious international brands such as Vibram and music videos for some of the most influential artists on the Italian music scene, including Elodie, Mr. Rain, Irama and Ariete.
He obtained significant recognition at the YDA in Cannes, YoungGuns in New York and recently won the Best Pop Newcomer Award at the UK Music Video Awards for “Mare di guai”, a video clip directed for the artist Ariete and produced by Borotalco and the Best Pop videoclip Award at the Videoclip Italia Awards with “Ovunque Sarai” by Irama.
Enea’s work and style are influenced by architecture, art, fashion and cinema and by the symbiotic relationship between human emotions and nature.
Enea Colombi’s lecture is part of the “Co-Ecologies” residency program curated by Carlos Casas.
