How to Chill by Jihyun Park

Jihyun Park’s research focuses on the climate crisis, environmental issues, and mental health. She believes the climate crisis is partly a result of the culture and systems within our weary society.

She engages the senses through her ‘leaf space’ installations and participatory tea sessions, where the audience can observe the seasonal changes in leaves and contemplate the Earth’s life cycle.

Additionally, she introduces a character named Dumble, a symbol of the virtual world that embodies ideals. Through Dumble, Park seeks to transform everyday experiences, imbuing ordinary aspects of life with new meanings by incorporating them into her leaf space narratives.
